Laos and Cambodia continue to conduct a border demarcation survey, aiming to complete the demarcation project this year.

To reach this goal, Lao Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Bounkeuth Sangsomsak and Cambodian Deputy Minister of Foreign
Affairs and International Cooperation Long Visalo and their delegations visited the area where the two sides had a difference of
opinion on February 15.

This area is located in Kaengtormorkhoy-Huayta-ngao between Attapeu province in Laos and Ratanakiri province in Cambodia .
The objective of the survey was to collect data and evidence to consider and solve the disputed point of border demarcation,
which lies within the final areas to be demarcated.

The survey was carried out in a cordial atmosphere due to the two countries' longstanding friendly relations.
